We booked our wedding in February 2020 and it was the best decision we made! Our wedding was in May 2022 and communication with Lauren during this time was brilliant. When our day finally arrived, everything went smoothly thanks to Lauren and the amazing wedding team. Nothing was too much effort and they were able to meet all of our requests. We got married at the Cotswold club yesterday and my husband and I could not fault it right from the off the whole day was amazing the staff were amazing and helped with every single little thing especially Lauren who made sure my dress was perfect and helped carry my train and did lots of lovely things for us. Sophie you were also a huge help and made our day go smoothly I can’t thank you all enough. Such a beautiful venue we defiantly chose the best place to get hitched we will never forget it. Hi Sophie, Hope you’re keeping well. Matt and I would like to leave a review for your website, following our amazing wedding back in the summer! Please could you upload the following message? … ‘We got married at the Cotswolds Hotel and Spa earlier this year and would highly recommend the venue to anyone looking for a beautiful setting with lovely food, great staff and a relaxing yet fun atmosphere. Sophie, Olivia & Frankie were very helpful from when we first met, through to when we left the venue the day after the wedding. They really helped with the planning, taking all of our details and requests into account. On the morning of the wedding our parents delivered the flower arrangements and decorations to Olivia, and when we arrived every table was set up beautifully. The day went perfectly, and the staff were brilliant, discretely checking things were just as we wanted, but without interrupting in any way. The venue works really well, particularly with a range of guest ages, with guests making use of the patio area overlooking the golf course, the bar area with the music, as well as the main wedding breakfast room/marquee, which was also used for the evening buffet. Many of the guests stayed overnight, and having breakfast together the next morning was the perfect end to our wedding in the Cotswolds. Thank you so much to all of the staff for making our day so special.
Hi Sophie, Just a quick note to say thank you so much for a memorable weekend. From the staff looking after us from when we arrived on friday and throughout the day on saturday. Please give my compliments to them all. The food was absolutely amazing too, so extra compliments to the chef. We understood the delay in getting into our rooms on Friday due to the Cheltenham races but we were more than looked after when we arrived – so thank you very much. Hi Frankie and Team, We hope you are well. We have just arrived back from our honeymoon and we are still in shock at how well our wedding day went! We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the team for everything that was done for our wedding day. It really was perfect, and we both had the best day. Our guests were so impressed with everything too! Even though timings were a bit off with our arrival, everything still managed to run smoothly, and we appreciate the work which was put in to make this happen. We also wanted to say a special thank you to the manager who went on the golf buggies with us and helped out the morning after the wedding, and an extra special thank you to the lovely South African lady at reception (sorry we can’t remember names!) who was a MASSIVE help throughout the whole wedding weekend, especially with my last minute nail booking disaster and being so great in the morning before I left for church. We had an absolutely wonderful wedding day and wanted to hugely thank you and all the team that worked together to make it what is was and bring it together the way you did. The food was beautiful and everyone has said how much they enjoyed it all and in particular the chocolate fondant!! The venue is stunning and we’re sure it will go from strength to strength in holding weddings and events 🙂 Thank you once again for all your input and guidance, including helping the ushers with their button holes!! Cotswolds Hotel, Golf & Spa is an absolutely stunning wedding venue. The main Amara ballroom has a white draped ceiling covered in fairy lights, and there are beautiful chandeliers hanging down - it’s like something out of a fairy tale. I love the set up of the rooms as everything is all in one place meaning that the guests are not separated away from each other - the main room leads onto the bar and also onto the outside terrace. The venue have a variety of centrepieces that you can chose from, and you also have the option of hiring other decorative items and a post box which saves you having to buy them and dispose of them again after the wedding. The planning and organisation prior to the wedding day went very smoothly, our main point of contact was Jules who was very helpful and would respond to any queries that we had very promptly. The day itself could not have gone any better, everything went according to plan which we would like to thank Jules, Suzanne and Miles for. They were always there checking in on us and letting us know where we should be or what we should be doing next which we greatly appreciated. For our couples photos we were able to hire out golf buggies to take us out onto the golf course. It was a stunning location in front of a lake, perfect for photos. The three course wedding breakfast and hog roast in the evening were delicious and we had many guests commenting on how amazing the food was. At the reception we had the resident DJ Ian, he contacted us before the day to find out what sort of music we liked, and we were also able to request songs on the night. All of our guests had a great time dancing the night away! After the wedding we had so many messages from guests telling us how much they enjoyed the day, we even had one guest message us to say that it was the best wedding he had ever been to! We are so glad that we chose Cotswolds Hotel, Golf and Spa for our wedding venue, we would not have changed a thing.

The Cotswold Club were incredibly attentive to our needs throughout the wedding planning process and helped create the perfect look, ambiance and worked brilliantly with all our other suppliers to the lead up to the wedding. The venue is breath taking with beautiful green grounds ( perfect for photos) but the winter marquee surpassed out expectations providing a beautiful serene day look for our Hindu wedding and an elegant and sophisticated look for our evening reception. Though it was the Cotswold Club’s first Hindu wedding, Sophie, the events coordinator was superb. She took care of every detail and went out of her away to ensure the day ran to schedule, chipping in with her team to help us every step of the way. The staff were also incredibly friendly and we could feel the genuine excitement as they greeted and served our guests. We are glad we chose the Cotswolds Club – with the beautiful location, extremely professional, thorough and helpful events team and charming winter marquee and decor you can’t go wrong! We are grateful to the Cotswold club for one of the best days if our life.
